Our History

2020

Etico transitioned to a fully virtualized company, closing its physical office in Ottawa to embrace remote operations and improve flexibility.

2018

Etico resumed investment in experimental research and development (R&D) to design and develop a lightweight data management software platform, InfoLite, aimed at addressing common data challenges in the GC landscape. Additionally, the company expanded its government supply arrangements to include THS and TSPS.

2017

The company broadened its consulting services within the data space. It discontinued specific vendor partnerships (MicroStrategy, SAS, Esri) and shifted its vertical focus to exclusively serve Government of Canada (GC) clients.

2014

Etico began providing data warehousing and data visualization services to Canadian Federal Government departments.

2011

Etico became a supplier to the Canadian Federal Government, securing supply arrangements under Pro Services and TBIPS.

2010

The company expanded its focus to developing and delivering purpose-built software solutions through a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. This attracted major clients, including Facebook, McKesson, Scotiabank, and Royal Sun Alliance.

2013

To support its growing Canadian operations, Etico established a Canadian corporation, enhancing its local presence and further expanding its reach within the Canadian Federal Government.

2008

Etico was founded as a US C-Corporation, initially providing Business Intelligence services to large corporations across the United States.
